Calling all food shoppers…Take a look at this time-saving tip, Amazon Fresh!
As a full-time working mom I find myself wishing there were more hours in the day. Especially when there’s food shopping that needs to get done! I am one of those that make a list and then forget the list. Of course, then only to find myself making more trips to the grocery store than I am willing to share. I know you all feel the same so that’s why I am sharing Amazon Fresh today.
Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy trips to the food store so I can go through the different selections but I have found a better way!! This new way avoids finding a parking spot, going out in the rain, lugging heavy bags, long lines, my son getting mad that he has to come and etc. I think you get the point.
I’m sure you have heard of Amazon, right? Well, Amazon offers an amazing, super convenient way to go grocery shopping. Amazon Fresh is a grocery delivering service that delivers both fresh and pantry items! I have been using this service for several months now and it has saved me so much time. And, saving time means I get to spend more of it with my family.
The selections and brands are amazing! Think of anything from organic yogurt to purple cabbage to paper towels they have it all. I also find this way of shopping beneficial when on a budget because you can see your shopping cart before you buy instead of being surprised at the register. Prices are comparable to food stores and the service is only $14.99 per month. I find it 100% worth it.
Another game changer for me is how short of a lead time they need to process your order. I never know what I want to cook so now I can decide the night before and have my groceries to me the next day. Just to give you an example, I have placed orders at 8:00 pm and received my delivery at 7:00 am the next day. They have flexible delivery time frames that you choose and whether you want it to be an attended or unattended drop-off.
You can order as little or as much as you need but any order over $40 makes it eligible for free shipping.
Your groceries come packaged safely in these sturdy green coolers with gel ice packs keeping things cold depending on your order. Amazon actually does a great job separating items and keeping like items together. I have never had a problem with any shipments even ones with eggs.
Produce is fresh, meat is fresh, and if you’re not satisfied they offer a simple way to request an item refund. I don’t know too much about how that works because I never had to use it but it’s nice to know it’s there.
If I had to choose a con I would say their meat selection is limited but they also have options of purchasing from local butchers so you do have additional options. Amazon is ever expanding so I can see their selection growing as well. One more thing, you also have to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of Amazon Fresh and Pantry but Prime gives you a ton of benefits in itself. If you don’t already have a Prime membership you’re missing out but that’s a post for another day but just in, Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial.
I truly suggest giving Amazon Fresh a try! You can sign up for their 30-day free trial and cancel anytime. What’s there to lose other than time spent at the food store?
